How to unlock exclusive skins in Apex Store? ›

The Rotating Shop lets you unlock specific cosmetics and characters with premium currency called Apex Coins. Additionally, the Rotating Shop lets you use grind currency (Legend Tokens) to unlock exclusive recolor versions of legendary skins, assuming you own the prerequisite item.

@BIG_SMOWKE You have to have them unlocked or buy them with Apex coins to be able to get the recolours with legend tokens. It'll show as locked on your screen if you haven't got it (there will be a padlock sign with the required skin next to it I.e Tidal wave etc).

Featured. The Store's main section, called Featured, is split into two subcategories: Featured and Limited-Time. The Featured section updates weekly at 02:00:00 UTC (GMT+0), while the Limited-Time section updates twice per week. 1,800 as long as the original item is owned.

Heirlooms and Mythic Skins are the rarest and most expensive cosmetics in Apex Legends costing around $160 during the collection event or $500 guaranteed through apex packs.

The odds of pulling an Heirloom Shard pick is 1 in 500 and it does have a mercy timer as well. So, if you can't wait for a natural pull of your Heirloom Shards or you're just extremely unlucky, you could always just buy 500 Apex Packs and open them until you're guaranteed the shards.
