I have to say a big KUDOS to everyone that worked so hard on our first AZ Regional race weekend of the season! The rain that was so cruel last year stayed completely away for this weekend - against all weather reports - and the weather was cloudy but nice - the track held water really well and the prep was amazing!! There were a ton of fans in the stands both days, and holy SR1 class batman! 19 SR1s for Rounds 1 and 2 - some crazy, fun racing and lots of fun after hours in the pits! Great way to start the season!! Oh, and the live video track feed is SO cool to have at the Regionals this year!!

Even better yet for the Modified Karts. Time to take off the floaties and get these things out of the kiddie pool once and for all. The racing is so much better when the track is opened up for these Modified Rippers to Rip. I sure wish we could get the other tracks interested in the Full Track Idea for the Mods. With the exception of Reno I think all the Full tracks could be run. The crash em up derby is getting old$$$...
